Differences in Anodizing Finish Services:
A. Dust Anodizing: This is the standard anodizing that we offer. This finish is not glossy; it is somewhat muted or flat finish to the marker. The prices quoted on the Service page reflect this finish unless otherwise stated.
B. Polished Anodizing: This is offered at an additional cost. This finish is gloss, and the actual metal must be extensively prepared to ensure that the anodizing is lustrous and shiny. The fees associated to this service are generalized on the Service page.
C. Special Color Matching: We no longer offer color matching.
Damaged Metal Finish, Hardware, and Disassembly/Assembly:
Damaged, Scratched, Metal Imperfections: During the anodizing process, your marker parts will have some metal preparation done. This will correct slight imperfections with your marker parts finish but, it will not change or minimize large scratches and other abuse. When you receive your marker, it will be properly packaged to ensure all parts arrive to you undamaged by being individually wrapped. We also suggest that you ship them this way. if you have a damaged part, contact us IMMEDIATELY so that we can file the claim through DHL Ground or 2 day depending on the customers needs. We will insure all marker parts to $100.00, if you wish to insure it for more, there will be a fee associated with it and is the added price from DHL.
Striped Screw Service: This is an additional service applied for stripped screws. We realize that a good portion of paintball players have had a stripped screw one time or another. If the threads/screw can not be corrected, the owner will be notified and a refund for that service will be issued. Most times the stripped screw can be extracted without damage to the threads, if the threads are damaged, then the hole will be re-drilled and tapped to the next size hole, a fastener to fit this new hole will also be provided. The fees associated to this service are generalized on the Service page.
Disassembly/Assembly: This is an additional service available for the paintball player whom does not feel comfortable disassembling their marker to its bare parts. All markers that are sent in assembled will have this fee associated with them to be anodized, we suggest that you take your marker apart. Markers will be returned in the condition they were sent. We will take good care of your marker when it is in our possession. Any warrantee that is provided by the manufacturer of the marker may or may not be in effect. We do not warrantee your marker, we stand behind our anodizing service, and will ensure the customer is happy with the end result to the best of our ability.
