Shipping Details Tutorial

This is a simple tutorial to give the customer the information on how to properly pack their marker for shipment to Gruntbull Anodizing (GBA.)

To start we need to COMPLETELY take apart your marker. (Please note that the marker shown has O-Rings, Screws, and Jewels (small stickers of the company's name) these must all be removed PROIR to shipping to GBA.

Once you have taken apart the marker so each part is separate from the other (notice the CP regulator is in all 3 parts) you can begin to wrap your parts in newspaper.

Notice how the barrels are packaged, roll the back up in the newspaper for a roll or two, then place the barrel front in the same page, and continue to roll the newspaper page.

Notice that the small parts are bagged in a zip lock bag with the color and finish marked on the bag as well.

Once you have placed some newspaper pages on the bottom, place the large pieces in the box (body, trigger frame, barrels.) After this put the small parts bags inside the box. Lastly you should place the top layer of newspaper pages and your Order Sheet which is not pictured but must be included in shipment. Please DO NOT PACKAGE USING PACKING PEANUTS!!! The recommended packing material is wadded up newspaper pages.

Once you have closed the box and securely tapped the box up, please place your ORDER NUMBER on two (2) sides of the box. Click order sheet picture for Sample Order Sheet. (notice to click top right of page to highlight the fields.)

Additional things to remember:
The MORE effort you put into showing GBA your IDEAS, the better we can serve you.

*DO NOT leave any adhesive on the parts, the glue will not come out without a lot of effort during stripping. So take mild soap and hot water to the part (its disassembled there is no issue with water) and clean that from the part PRIOR to shipping.

*We ask if you have any graphics, please either send a printed out picture or at least the website on a printed page.

*ALL COLOR MATCHES or SAMPLES MUST accompany your marker shipment! (We can not use monitors to do this as our monitors may show the color differently than yours.)

*DO NOT Sharpie on your parts, pleas put this information on the wrapping: Color they are to be as well as the Finish (Dust or Polished)

*Shake your box when you are done, if it sounds like jingle bells, you are not done; you need to add more newspaper to fill the box.
